D&E Add-Ons

Optional, enhanced support that builds upon the core building block services to further optimise dissemination and exploitation.

After developing strong strategies with your Booster experts, your mentor may advise you – based on the Service Roadmap established during the Entry-Level Consultation – to take advantage of additional services that further enhance the impact of your dissemination and exploitation activities.

Five complementary services make up the add-ons:

  1. Networking: Engage external stakeholders to enhance result dissemination and exploitation.
  2. Portfolio Analysis: Connect with similar projects for joint dissemination and exploitation, promoting sustainability through networking.
  3. Intellectual Assets Management: Manage intellectual assets, develop effective IAM strategies, and support clustering with related projects.
  4. Coaching for Public Speaking: Improve your public speaking skills to effectively engage investors, partners, clients, and policymakers.
  5. Audio-Visual Support: Receive a tailored video to enhance dissemination and exploitation on identified channels, such as the Horizon Results Platform.

Networking is key to enhancing stakeholder engagement and expanding your professional network.

This service supports you in engaging with external stakeholders to improve the dissemination and exploitation of results. You will expand your contact database and capitalise on project results by connecting with key stakeholders and initiatives related to your Research and Innovation project.

It includes developing a networking strategy, mapping opportunities to engage relevant stakeholders, matchmaking with entrepreneurs, and offering guidance on building networks at various levels.

Together with your Booster experts, you will develop a network building and engagement action plan:

  • Define your networking goals, stakeholders, community-building activities, and available resources and their alignment with project objectives.
  • List key organisations, individuals, and events that can support your networking activities.
  • Create a practical action plan, including tips for outreach.
  • Receive recommendations to enhance community building and additional activities.
  • Conduct effective network-building activities such as defining messages, matchmaking, event organisation, and establishing advisory boards.

Ideal for:

  • Individual projects
  • Project groups

Connecting with similar projects enables you to strengthen your dissemination and exploitation capabilities. This service helps create a portfolio of results from related projects for joint dissemination and exploitation, promoting sustainability through networking, clustering, and knowledge exchange.

  • Assess existing project portfolios as defined by Work Programme topics.
  • Identify or create portfolios with shared dissemination and exploitation value, including the integration of projects beyond research and innovation frameworks, where relevant.
  • Support ongoing clustering activities within identified project groups through coordinated meetings and activities to ensure sustainability post-service delivery.
  • Create channels to foster synergies, communication, and collaboration within the portfolio.
  • Provide guidance on identifying similarities in projects from regional, national, EU, and international funding initiatives.

Ideal for:

  • Individual projects

Managing intellectual assets can be a challenging task. This service helps you develop an intellectual assets strategy that ensures readiness for dissemination and exploitation. It includes identifying intellectual assets, providing advice on ownership, IP rights, valuation, and licensing, with additional support on IP management if needed. The service aids in creating effective IAM strategies at both individual and consortium levels and supports clustering with related projects.

  • Develop IAM strategies to maximise the benefits of your project results, including Key Exploitable Results (KERs), background intellectual assets, and assets from consortium partners and third parties.
  • Receive guidance and support for managing intellectual assets within project clusters.
  • Ensure compliance with grant and consortium agreements.
  • Access remote consultations.

Ideal for:

  • Individual projects
  • Project groups

Effective speaking is essential for the valorisation of project knowledge, as it helps distil key information and successfully engage target audiences such as investors, business partners, clients, and policymakers. With this service, you will become more comfortable speaking in public and make your presentations stand out. Receive support with material preparation, audience targeting, and improving speaking techniques.

The service focuses on maximum of three Key Exploitable Results (KERs) from individual projects or project groups and is particularly recommended as preparation for participation in D&E events.

  • Receive trained and coached on presenting exploitable results to potential investors and stakeholders.
  • Get customised recommendations for improving pitching decks, presentations, and communication skills.
  • Learn how to be concise, create compelling presentations tailored to specific audiences and validated by experts.
